Anybody Still Use Your Commodore 64?

Do you use it for games? Some other purpose? What are your favorite games to still play. What are your other favorite uses for this venerable old dinosaur? Fire Away!
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.

I saw one run over in the street last week (truth, next to a squashed LinkSys WRT54G, sadly); probably fell out of a trash can.

I bought one for my dad a couple years ago, for nostalgia. He still plays Jumpman and Rat Race from time to time.

Never had a C64, we had an Apple IIe instead.

My favorite C64 game is/was Lords of Conquest. I played it at a friend's house. I play it online (someone re-wrote it as a java applet) from time to time.

Nah when I get a hankering for old school gaming I fire up Dos-Box.

I'm really not that much of an old tech user, aside from my Ibm Model M keyboard made in 1986 and my Rotary phone I really don't care for old tech too much. :D

Ditto. My main interest in "old tech" are the vacuum-tube HF communications receivers that festoon my house. And, the flintlock rifles on my wall.

I used a Commodore 64 as a word-processor back in 1985 coupled with a dot-matrix printer.
The software was in a plug-in cartridge. 48 characters per line!

Using a current-generation E-Machine right now.

I can't bring myself to dig everything out of storage for my C64. Otherwise I'd probably be playing Airborne Ranger right about now.

Sold my C64 back in the '90s. I even had and used the "Fast Load" cartridge. Cassette and a floppy drive, too.

I had three games in heavy rotation:

- F-15 Strike Eagle
- Silent Service (a great way to kill beers, while waiting for action)
- Dr. J. vs. Larry Bird: One-on-One

*sigh* good times.

Ooh! I remember - Dr. J. vs. Larry Bird: One-on-One that was fun. You could break the glass and the janitor would come out to sweep up the glass. While he was sleeping he would curse with @#$%&@!! characters. I think.

There was some D&D style game I played on the C64, what was it... It was kinda like Nethack with a GUI.

Here you go. 500 C64 games on the PC.
