Happy 70th birthday Chuck Norris...

Post by TheIrishman »

snipped from wikipedia:
Carlos Ray "Chuck" Norris (born March 10, 1940) is an American martial artist, actor and media personality. After serving in the United States Air Force, he began his rise to fame as a martial artist and has since founded his own school, Chun Kuk Do.

He joined the United States Air Force as an Air Policeman (AP) in 1958 and was sent to Osan Air Base, South Korea. It was there that Norris acquired the nickname Chuck and began his training in Tang Soo Do (tangsudo), an interest that led to black belts in that art and the founding of the Chun Kuk Do ("Universal Way") form. He created the education associations United Fighting Arts Federation and "KickStart" (formerly "Kick Drugs Out of America"), a middle school and high school–based program intended to give at-risk children a focus point in life through the martial arts.

In 1969, he won Karate's triple crown for the most tournament wins of the year, and the Fighter of the Year award by Black Belt Magazine.....Norris has received a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from the Machado family.
Now I just have to hope he doesn't track me down and roundhouse me for mentioning his age :o

Even at 70 Chuck Norris can still kick butt. Keep on kicking Chuck.
Years from now our children and grandchildren living in a 3rd world America will ask "What were you doing on March 21st 2010 and why didn't you stop it?"

WOW, I really didn't think he had reached that age yet. I can only wish to be is such shape if and when I reach 70 years old.
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

Hell! I'd settle for being in that shape now!
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

My wife believes - she just told me (not in any specific order); "clean living, good food, good loving/sex, commitment to your partner, mental and physical discipline, and regular use of a Total Gym (which Chuck heavily endorses)," is key to living a long & healthy life (even though she younger than I am). :D

I don't think I'd dare to kick CN, even if he is 70... You go first and I'll watch from a safe distance. 8-)
