Yeah, that's the guardian I was referring to. The Guntrucks I was referring to is the new ones they're building on 939 chassis, no doubt inspired by the Vietnam era unofficial ones like Eve of Destruction and Brutus. It's a shame they don't do the artwork on the new ones like they did on the originals though.

And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.

Re: Introduce Yourselves
My name is Jim.
Survivalists Dad is my Dad.
he has ragged on me for a couple of days about signing up.
I do not live in the states, but will be returning there to live in about 20 months.
Hopefully our home will be completed when we get there.
I did not want to return but was outvoted (wife and kids ).
They ganged up on me so I have no choice
My hobbies are Guns,Guns and More Guns, building fishing rods(don't fish much) and scratch building gun stocks and pistol grips.
Don't do checkering , not enough patience.
Am learning Wood carving from a master carver here so I can do carvings instead of checkering.

Re: Introduce Yourselves
HI. Termite here. I'm a forum "oldie", dispite the current forum software calling me a newbie. On the GunThing and the KdT Forum preceeding that, I was known as....Termite. I once typed a long spiel explaining how I got the nickname. Maybe someday I'll tell the story again. Or not.....
I live in central Louisiana, about 5 minutes from PawPaw(has he checked in, BTW?)
I am married, have three kids, and a house note. Among my many interests are shooting, turning Bambi and/or his mother into jerky, BBQing for family and friends, and riding motorcycles. I spent about 11 yrs in National Guard/Army, first as a 19D(cav scout), then a 153B(helicopter pilot). I work in the GoM in oil & gas production, and have since 1989(with a short break for Desert Storm I); currently on a Tension Leg Platform about 90+ miles offshore, in 3300 ft of water.
My political leanings tend to be classic liberal; or as I occasionally describe myself, economic and social conservative libertarian(small "L"). I really don't care if someone wants to be stupid with money/sex/etc, as long as they do it on their nickel, and they keep it away from me.
Ciao,
Termite
BTW,
For those of you forum "oldies" who were wondering, La Casa del Termite came thru Gustav just fine, and we were only out of power for 24 hrs. Actually, since I have 2 generators and a Statpower 2.5kw inverter with 1100amp/hr battery bank, we weren't completely out of power, just A/C. After the grid power came back on at my house, I loaned out my generators to friends who were still out.
