Want to buy an old friend a meaningful gift

The place for general talk about gun, shooting, loading, camping, survival, and preparedness related tools and gear, as well as gear technology discussion, gear reviews, and gear specific "range reports" (all other types of gear should be on the back porch).

Highspeed ftw!

I was thinking if Yogi's unit made a yearbook or log, or whatever it would be called, that might be something that would remind him of Yogi.

An Uhlan Lance. I can just see that hanging from the ceiling in the living room when friends visit. . . 8-)
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .

I found some cigars with the air force crest on them.

How about a zippo?

The nice thing about a watch HE WEARS is that every time he looks at it, he can be reminded of your friendship and generosity. The same thing applies if he's a smoker and uses the gift Zippo to light his pleasure.

Does he have any other CONSISTENT habits which you may be able to provide a gift relating to that habit which would make him think of your friendship?

BTW, I'd appreciate it if you let us know what you decided upon, and a picture of it (it might give others thinking the same thing ideas of what it might look like).

LBJ, purportedly, once gave people toothbrushes w. their names on them for Christmas gifts... (Appropriate for a politician, he said it was so they would think of him every morning and night.)
