I guess in an era of rampant vote fraud on the part of those "elected" officials who would create "laws" to eliminate our Constitutional Rights (the Constitution being the supreme law of the land) it may be time to re-examine what truly constitutes being law abiding.mekender wrote:QM, you are spot on... especially how the vast majority of gun owners would give up their guns easily and with out much fuss
above all, we gun owners pride ourselves in being law abiding... most of us would obey the law if it were passed and then go on to fight the hell out of it through the proper channels.
How does one go about fighting through "proper channels" when the basic law that defines those channels is essentially ignored or made null through judicial fiat?
If most gun owners actually will just roll over to any "law" that's fabricated (and I suspect you're right on that point) then we've already surrendered. We're just quibbling about the time schedule. People who are inclined to kick sleeping dogs are more likely to do it once they are certain the dog won't bite. Much better that they be absolutely sure the dog will bite.
"If ye love wealth greater than liberty,
the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom,
go home from us in peace.
We seek not your counsel, nor your arms.
Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you;
May your chains set lightly upon you,
and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."
