Word. Just Word.

Post by Windy Wilson »

The Who's "Pinball Wizard" to the tune of "Folsom Prison Blues" by Johnny Cash.
Robert Frost's "Stopping in the Woods on a Snowy Evening" to the tune of "Your Cheatin' Heart" by Hank Williams.
Emily Dickinson's "Because I Could Not Stop for Death" to the tune of "Gilligan's Island" by Sherwood Schwartz.
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .

In the words of Willy Wonka, "Scratch that; reverse it."
The Rolling Stones 'Sympathy for the Devil' to the tune of "House of the Rising Sun".

virtually everything Emily Dickenson wrote to the tune of "The Yellow Rose of Texas"

Is that something like Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Wizard of Oz"?

The theme from 'Gilligan's Island' sung to the tune of 'Stairway to Heaven' or the original G.I. tune done in the style of Led Zeppelin. You can find multiple versions of both on YouTube.

The Marine Hymn to the tune of Gilligan's Island. All three verses. (Important safety tip: Never let a D.I. catch you singing it that way. Just saying.)

But is the other way around OK?
