LaserLyte sight for Glock 21

Took a friend to the range yesterday for a "vendor selection" session. He'd settled on a caliber (45 ACP) and wanted to try a selection of platforms. We played with

S&W M&P
Springfield XD 45
Glock 21
Cz 97B
EAA Witness 45
Springfield TRP (1911 pattern, full length)
Kimber Raptor (1911 pattern, full length)
Kimber Eclipse Pro II (1911 pattern, commander length)

While there, I sighted in and shot my Glock 21 with the LaserLyte sight a friend had kindly given me.

First, what I like about it.
* Without the laser on, the iron sights work just like the original Glock sights, albeit the POI is slightly below POA.
* The laser works in two modes -- on and pulsing. The pulsing mode really attracts the eye.
* The laser POA is "independently" adjusted in the two dimensions via *tiny* hex screws. In theory independently; in reality there's quite a bit of coupling.
* Wicked accurate comes to mind. Where the dot is, the bullet goes. I was doing "5 rounds thru the same hole" type groupings.

What I don't like about it.
* The screws are adjustable by a tiny hex wrench; 1/4mm I'm guessing. Easy to lose and then .... no more adjustability.
* I predict the thing won't hold its zero. 1/8 of a turn on the adjustment screws equals 2" at 7 yds, and since there're no detentes on the screws to prevent them from "backing up", I suspect the sight will wander around. That's probably good enough for "across the room" range, but not for super accurate stuff.

Overall I was pleased with the sight. It works as advertises, is well integrated into the gun, seems robustly constructed, and is adjustable.

Don't know if you've seen the adjustment screws on a Crimson Trace, but they use the same tool. I've often worried about it going out of adjustment but it hasn't happened yet. But then again, I rarely shoot the carry piece since I have the laser on it so maybe it is out an inch or two.

What about a small spot of Loctite, even though it is not in the threads (I don't think that you would want to back out the threads that much...) it should dry hard enough to hold whatever you set the adjustment.
