Keep seeing the new Mercedes Benz commercial where the guy is standing there with a light bulb in his hand. He talks about conservation then the set is lit with 10,000 or so of the light bulbs like the one in his hand. He finishes up talking about how "green" and environmentally concerned MB is. What genius thought THIS commercial up?

I laughed when I saw it. Then I thought maybe it was a sneak attack at the douchebag greenies.

I too noticed the light bulb ceiling, frankly I think that most of it is CG.

Very possible, but the image is what's important. Here's someone touting a "green" series of cars with the image of thousands of light bulbs using power and generating heat. IMHO, it's a smack in the face.

Shows how much they really care. If Mercedes-Benz really cared, they'd use LEDs instead of compact fluorescent lightbulbs. Besides, we need the mercury for other stuff.
