Blast From The Past

Post by Darrell »

I ran across this over at Ernie's House of Whoopass--a site dedicated to '80s music videos. Surely you'll find something you like, or to laugh at.

Memory lane, definitely. Though XTC was the only band with multiple videos on that site.
Buy ammunition and magazines.

You'll shoot your eye out!

Another blog.

Oh gosh, Flock of Seagulls' I Ran (So Far Away)--silly video but good guitar licks. Mmmmm, Kate Bush, Running Up That Hill... darn I had a thing for her, beautiful woman and a heckuva performer. Don Henley, Boys Of Summer, I think the best '80s rock video. Neil Young, Rockin' In A Free World... find Neil Young live in Berlin, early '80s (before the Wall came down), ass kicking concert. I wore out the videotape, and now have it on DVD, it rocks.

That does bring back some memories. Some on their I haven't really thought about in years- like UB40's 'Red Red Wine' which seemed to be the last song at every dance during my HS years.
