Which would you rather read?

So, some time ago I stopped writing almost entirely. Books, papers, blog posts, and even anything more than a sentence or two here. There is a couple of fairly good reasons for this, which I don't care to get into, but recently I've concluded that if I don't start again I'm going to lose my effing mind. I have story ideas keeping me awake at night and have for months with a worsening progression.

So, all that said, I decided I need to start writing again, even if only a bit of fiction. Here is where you come in, somewhat gentle reader, which would you rather read;

A. A fairly well fleshed out story about a colony ship proceeding along at just below the speed of light when a technical problem forces the crew to thaw out the first of the 'involuntary colonists.' The two 'incols' are the primary viewpoint characters and will fairly rapidly discover that they are essentially slaves to the crew who have been hand picked to bring a more perfected humanity to the stars. They're communists in all but name, and our heroes will, of course, be attempting to 'adjust' the mission profile.

B. A nascent idea best described as a future history, mostly told through research and interviews by the 'author' researching the 1st Interstellar Assault Group's legendary campaign during the first interstellar war. The author is trying to figure out the real reason the 1st laid waste to vastly superior enemy forces on their way to the enemy homeworld while every other unit couldn't even hold their position without two to one superiority. This story is somewhat less about individuals and events, instead the focus is on the morality of war, and how it is prosecuted.

Option A made me instantly think of "Pandorum", only with live people instead of monsterish things. I'd go for A.

You guys just want to suggest: Communists In Space! as a title.

I'm leaning towards A myself, it's an easier narrative structure to work within and should have lots of action, both of the shooting variety and subterfuge.

It actually reminds me of "Building Harlequin's Moon" by Larry Niven.

I vote for B, although told by different characters, like privates, LT's, dropship pilots, medics, and ship captains.

In 2014, in an amazing series of coincidences, the sitting SCROTUS, Bahwack Obummer, was killed in an explosion aboard the Scrotal aircraft when a stack of adult magazines fell onto an uncovered electrical distribution bus starting a fire that spread rapidly into the fuel system. The flaming wreckage, in what is still officially a coincidence but a favorite topic of conspiracy theorists, crashed into the house of the exwife of the first Emperor of Earth, Aesop MySleave the first.
