Now, for the history: The film-maker hired a black, female, Obama supporter to pick 12 people to be interviewed for a film on the Obama election. The requirements were that they be intelligent, well-spoken, willing and able to express themselves on film for this documentary.
No surprise that none of them had any clue about the issues or the candidates, save the fluff that has been drummed into them by the MSM.
Of course, the immediate attack was that "anyone can find 12 people and make them look stupid" so he paid Zogby to do a poll of Obama-voters.
I hesitate to post these results, because I REALLY want you to see the video, but here is a paraphrase...
Only 1/2 of 1% of Obama supporters polled at random could correctly answer 12 questions on the issues and the election. I am 100% sure that there's not a person here who could not answer all 12 without thinking. This is what we're up against - a media machine that would have been unimaginable even to good-ol'-Mr.-Reagan.512 Obama Voters 11/13/08-11/15/08 MOE +/- 4.4 points
97.1% High School Graduate or higher, 55% College Graduates
Results to 12 simple Multiple Choice Questions
57.4% could NOT correctly say which party controls congress (50/50 shot just by guessing)
71.8% could NOT correctly say Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism (25% chance by guessing)
82.6% could NOT correctly say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot (25% chance by guessing)
88.4% could NOT correctly say that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket (25% chance by guessing)
56.1% could NOT correctly say Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground (25% chance by guessing).
And yet.....
Only 13.7% failed to identify Sarah Palin as the person on which their party spent $150,000 in clothes
Only 6.2% failed to identify Palin as the one with a pregnant teenage daughter
And 86.9 % thought that Palin said that she could see Russia from her "house," even though that was Tina Fey who said that!!
Only 2.4% got at least 11 correct.
Only .5% got all of them correct. (And we "gave" one answer that was technically not Palin, but actually Tina Fey)

IOW: Shoot the messenger.
If anyone wishes to have Zogby duplicate the polling on McCain voters, the film-maker, Mr. Ziegler, has publicly offered to refund DOUBLE THE COST if they don't do better than the Obama supporters did. So far noone has taken him up on this offer - after all the truth can't be nearly as damaging as the accusation.
Somewhere in my heart, I knew the facts this proves, but I just still did not "get it." I get it now - some things just can not be un-seen once they are seen.
