My son, Austin is 16 and is really into guns so, I have started buying guns that he has interest in.
When he turned 16 in Dec I gave him a S&W M&P 9.

He thinks that the Beretta 92FS is the gun to have. I got a great deal on one, like new, for $425. Took him shooting and he put 30 rounds into about 4" at 7 yards.

He wants his own AR. So I picked up A S&W M&P 15 Optic Ready Carbine last week. I put the MagPul CTR buttstock on it and flip up sights. He wants a Quad rail on it.
I'm setting it up the way he wants it because, I will end up giving it to him.
Here he is with it. He told me that I should give it to him and that I could use it any time.

Hold it! This isn't the son you took pics of when you had my M-1 carbine stock in work was it? Can't possibly have been that long, he was just a little guy. This must be an older son.
