SIRT training pistol

Post by Aglifter »

Very handy. Both for practice, and for teaching new shooters.

I bought it, initially, for use w. new shooters, but I have found it handy for myself, as well.

I need to find the box, so I can increase the trigger weight a bit, but otherwise it feels very close to a stock G17 - and, it locks in my retention holster I carry my G20 in.

It encourages work on indexing, and it allows a very simple means of experimenting with sight picture. (I've finally started to understand the benefits of the 6 O'Clock hold, and have developed intermediate focus.)

It safely permits all manner of practice from difficult positions, etc.

And, mine at least, has both red and green lasers, so I will be able to pair it w. my laser target system.

Its supposed to take any Glock sight - it has a plain black rear, I'm getting a fiber optic front for it.
