The Journal of Physical Security

Post by Rich Jordan »

This week on the Security Now podcast, Steve Gibson commented on this journal that is put out occasionally and at irregular intervals. The list of topics in the most recent one sounded so interesting I went to the site and downloaded all of the editions to check out.

Journal of Physical Security

Here's the current edition's table of contents:
  • P.D. Gordon, “The Japan Earthquake and the Tsunami: Their Implications for the U.S.”
  • A. Toporov, “Lock Opening by Bumping: Physical Analysis and Secure Lock Designs”
  • R.G. Johnston and J. S. Warner, “How to Choose and Use Seals”
  • S. Meroni, “Election Security: Don't start with fraud investigations, start with security investigations”
  • R.G. Johnston, “Viewpoint Paper: Common Election Security Myths”
  • D.B. Chang and C.S. Young, “Comparison of Window Stresses from Explosions and Projectiles”
  • D. Davidovic, Z. Kesetovic, and O. Pavicevic, “National Critical Infrastructure Protection in Serbia: the role of private security”
  • O. Omotoso, and A.A. Aderinto, “Assessing the Performance of Corporate Private Security Organizations in Crime Prevention in Lagos State, Nigeria”
In case its of interest here; the back issues are also available at the site.

I did a quick search so I don't think this has been previously posted.

Nifty! I'll have to look into this.
"If it ain't the Devil's Music, you ain't doin' it right." - Chris Thomas King

"When liberal democracies collapse, someone comes along who promises to make the trains run on time if we load the right people into them." - Tam K.
