It's out and in a local theater here. Anyone seen it yet?
Trying to get out and support it myself. I expect it'll only be on a few screens. The more who see and the sooner the better.

Going to see it on Tuesday, I think.

Saw it this afternoon. I liked most of the new cast, but not Dagney Taggart. Don't know the actress, but she's not young enough, strong enough, or pretty enough for the character.
They definitely had more money than for part 1, it showed in the production and effects.
To my mind the biggest problem with the series is that it follows the book too closely. Rand needed a good editor to make a mediocre novel into a good one, and the film is a good adaptation of a mediocre novel. Still, I'll probably get part 2have on dvd to go with part 1, and will likely see and own part 3 when it comes out.

In Part I, Taylor Schilling did a great job as Dagny.

Agreed. I can't think of an actress who could combine Dagney's youth, beauty and toughness into one character, but Schilling did better than most would have.Bullspit wrote:Definitely. Probably the best performance in the movie.Jered wrote:In Part I, Taylor Schilling did a great job as Dagny.

I heard on an interview that part 2 would be released in about 1000 theaters rather than the 250 the 1st one was seen in. I just got part 1 on DVD and will see it before seeing part 2. Looking forward to it.blackeagle603 wrote:It's out and in a local theater here. Anyone seen it yet?
