Hedge Laying

Hedge Laying. I wonder if it would work with mesquite, in TX...

Blackthorne, which is one of the common traditional species of hedges, and has been naturalized in the eastern US. It's particularly attractive as a hedgerow for two reasons - 1, it, along with Hawthorne are notorious for their particularly vicious thornes, and two, it's a fruiting plant, which provides the large black berries used in Sloe Gin.
