I guess Marvel's been building up to this for a while. Looks good:

ETA: Directed and screenplay by Joss Whedon. Huh. Might be interesting... and Whedon is known for knocking off his characters.

Oh man, the Hulk, Thor, and Iron Man all in the same movie?
This is either going to be very, very good, or very, very bad.

Re: The Avengers--Trailer
Looks great. They even put Hawkeye in it. That makes me happy.
More importantly, and risking the thread jack, IMDB brought me this list:
22 Most Anticipated Movies of 2012
Highlights include
1. The Avengers-Another superhero movie. I'm glad.
2. Dark Knight Rises-Keep the new franchise going, it's working well.
3. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey-They're going to screw this one up, but we should at least get some good swordfighting scenes.
5. Star Trek Sequel: Can't complain
8. The Hunger Games: Interesting teen book, if you haven't read it, grab it from the library.
11. Die Hard 5-No new ideas, but John McClane isn't dead yet, and hasn't killed terrorists in a few months. Time to start again.
12. Mass Effect-My wife, world's largest Mass Effect fan almost hit me when I read that, but then she heard the plot. Wife approves.
13. Total Recall-Hey cool, oh wait, Colin Ferrell...move along then...
14. World War Z-Awesome! Dammit, Brad Pitt. Tell Hollywood that there are other actors out there.
15. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengance-Cool.
17. The Expendables 2: Neato, they're going to have another awesome action movie with no plot and...OMG, CHUCK NORRIS IS IN IT!

Stark: Doctor Banner, Your work is unparalleled and I'm a huge fan of the way you lose control and turn into an enormous green rage monster.
