What Self-Defense System is This??

Post by 308Mike »

I happened to see a link to some self-defense system guaranteed to immobilize ANY attacker and promoted by CAPTAIN CHRIS (????), I just had to take a closer look and this is some of the stuff I found (I removed the reference ID for the link so nobody gets credit if you go there):
How to snatch a loaded gun right out of a "Gangsta's" hand so damn fast it will literally tear his trigger finger off! (And then immediatelywithout even thinking about itcave his chest in without skipping a beat.)
How to control the shakes and super-hot adrenaline dump that occurs during tense, violent situations! (Youll be cool, smooth and effective no matter how confusing things get... just the opposite of how most men react!)
* How to make someone who tries to choke you literally drown in his own spit. (Frankly, you have to see this one to believe itit's that incredible.)

* How even a 105 pound girl can snap a big guy's wrist or elbow like a stale pretzel rod.
Including... How to control a bigger and stronger attacker's entire body with one knuckle... A secret way (unknown to 99% of martial artists) to stop a 70 mph punch without blocking or evading it... and even...

>How To Conquer Someone Twice Your Size And Weight... Using Nothing More Than The Tips Of Your Fingers!
All for only $89.97 TODAY (normal price is $297, which is crossed out):

AND:
After watching just the first DVD ALONE...

You'll Know More About
Surviving A Life-Or-Death Street Assault
Than Most Black Belt Karate Masters!
SIGH

I haven't yet tried to search the words: SCAM and CAPTAIN CHRIS to see what comes up, not so much for what he teaches, but the marketing methods used.

Maybe he's legit and all his stuff REALLY works, but then why isn't it being taught in the police academies and in the military instead of via mail-order and DVDs?

When I went to the link ABOUT CAPTAIN CHRIS, I got:

looks like a trap -- when lights come on you're in the MEPS, some immigrant Iraqi doc with a heavy accent is saying: "Turn your head to the left and cough" and a Marine recruiter is headed out the door laughing.

But the scary part is the valuable parts he's holding in his fingers when he says that!!

Duped as in previously posted, or as in "this is a rip-off"?

This is a dupe post, I seem to remember someone asking about this before. I think it was posted that this guy was a con artist of the first order.

The POW Network names Christopher Pizzo on its "phonies" list.
And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.

Back when I first became aware of this guy he was going by Lt. X (betting you've heard that one) and peddling the ABC (accelerated battlefield combatives) system.

Same crap, new wrapper.
