Oh Hai!
I'm a true newbie. I wasn't on the old forum. I'm even a new shooter. (Started Jan 08)
Wheel gun fan. I spoiled myself on my first purchase. I bought a S&W 627 Performance center. I love my eight shots of .357 in N-frame goodness.
I carry a S&W 640 everyday. Also in the household is Hubby's 29 and his 586 Performance Center and a WWII era M&P.
I'm a wife and mom. Kiddo is 9 years old.
So what else do you want to know about me.

Strad here, heard about this forum from a buddy on another, looking forward to pestering you all to no end. I have enjoyed shooting for quite a while, and am an avid advocate of the second amendment, as a matter of fact I practice that right every day :D I make custom grips for 1911, and if I may say so myself, they are pretty snazzy, and affordable to boot! Check out the site!!

Careful around this bunch (me included) with a loaded question like that. Welcome, and glad to see the feminine side represented by you, Mel, and any other ladies I haven't seen yet.

Now what good would an unloaded question be after all? Don't worry, I'm not shy and if you cross a line, I will let you know ;)

Bah, Rod is harmless. He is all bluster. But he does have some nice Krags and a taste for OLD Scotch.

Your last name Dumas? Or sometimers getting to you? I'd rather gargle with razor blades than drink scotch. My heaven on earth is a nice Irish whiskey, either Bushmill's or Jameson's.

Hi, all. I answer to RangerWT, Ranger, RWT, Wayne, or Hey you. Any will do. I live in Huntington, West Virginia with my wife and 2 sons, all three of whom are into shooting.

I have had an interesting and eventful life since I first started following this community. I have Crossed America 3 times with a total of 5 different guns, a leatherman and a donkey (or was it a mule?). I even helped rescue CC's mother, wife, and girlfriend (or was it sister?) from Mexican rebels.

Also, one of my greatest joys is to insult people who wear combat boots with flames embroidered on them.

And I still haven't figured out how to check the spelling.

Don't sugar coat it, tell us how you really feel. I'm an equal opportunity imbiber personally. I do have a special place for the aged razor blades. Those of the single malt variety.

Chase here.

I've held numerous jobs in different fields. I served in the US Navy for a tour of both active and reserve time, was a machinist producing gas lift valves for the oil patch, and was a police officer. While doing tall that, I managed to get through college and was a volunteer diver at an aquarium in NOLA. Sometime ago I decided I just hadn't abused myself enough, and am back in college again.

I'm currently attending MSU and working on a Landscape Architecture degree whilst moonlighting as a construction inspector for the university. When not in class or crawling through trenches for watermain or steam tunnels, I take advantage of living next to one of the premier smallmouth fisheries in the nation, and hunt waterfowl as often as humanly possible.

Sometimes, I even get to shoot a little.
