My money is still on matching black powder Mini-14 and P-85s.
They also haven't invented a single shot lever action, but there's still time.

:(

On the CZ-527 - I just bought a box of S&B .311 softpoint bullets in order to continue my experiment with handloading 7.62x39mm cartridges for hunting with the little rifle. I hopefully also have a Vortex Viper 2-7 scope on the way for it. I better hurry up - the fifth and best season of the year is fast approaching.

Yeah, but Mossberg already took a lever action and put a 6-position collapsible stock on it.

That's just someone with no idea what they're doing other than 'throw some shit on the wall and see if it sticks' (and that's definitely a piece of shit, allright), probing to find the bottom, the lowest common denominator. After all, if a crapmobile like the PT Cruiser could sell at above MSRP as fast as they could make them, for YEARS, who knows what other confused shit the American public will snap up. Just have to try it and see.

The adjustable stock is a bit much, but I seriously considered getting one of the railed forends for my Marlin. I may still, if somebody comes out with one that I like. The light mount I am currently using leaves a bit to be desired.

Well, there are a few reviews out there where people basically said "once I got over how fugly this rifle was and got to handle it, it actually makes sense and shoots well."

Mossberg rather obviously has a Joss Weedon fan-boy in the engineering dept., who somehow believes that Firefly is going to be resurrected any day, and that Mal, Zoe, and Jayne will need new weaponry.

It has a flash hider. It's a lever action. It's also still TOP EJECT, so where's a ninja supposed to put his ACOG?

Forward mount, scout style of course.
They put rails on it of course, but not there. Of course.

And the rails are not parallel to the barrel.
