Unfortunately for me, the front half of my duplex & the building to the left of us are used by a daycare. Someone breaks in during the day, I'll have to be damned careful if I have to shoot them. One of the .22s may have to back up the Mossberg instead of the AR or one of the hand-cannons.

I've got an NEF Pardner under my side of the bed with 5 rounds of 00 buck in it. Right now, it has the full length field barrel, until I can pick up something to chop to 18.5". However, since I live in a narrow townhouse, maneuverability is less of an issue, the scattergun is basically for firing down the stairs at the front door. Most any shot you'd take in my house has no other houses for a backstop, as it's set up very much front-to-back. I have my 4043 on my nightstand, and my wife has the 1006 on her side of the headboard (yes, the woman is lovably nuts, but it's her favorite gun in the house right now, and who am I to argue?) When I get my 7.62 AR built, it'll ride in the corner in the bedroom as well, because I figure it'll be as convincing a "Go Away" as Chris' "30 rounds of 77gr peepee whacking."
