Yeah, but in the meantime you have to deal with the national government here that is largely in the control of entities with the ethics of Boskonians, elected by masses with the intellectual agility of Zabriskan fontemas.

That's what the "Judge, Jury, and Executioner" authority is all about. Democracy works only if corruption is uprooted. And Lensmen are inherently incorruptible.

Not to mention that I've spent the last 35 years trying to master practically any nameable weapon, with some success (OK, I was a better fencing instructor than competitive fencer).

I'm waiting for the ability to smash cities with giant combat robots (aka the two new mechwarrior games coming in the next 12 months).

I was so looking forward to playing this, till they announced it would be for a Windows platform only.
