Indeed. Never been a huge superhero fan myself, and it's not quite a direct answer but there's something to be said for Captain America, at least this one.

Guilty as charged! The only mitigating evidence to be taken into consideration is that the film featured Sandra Bullock in a tight suit. 8-)

It would have been if she was in it. You're probably thinking of Demolition Man. 8-)
So there's really no mitigating evidence at all.

I knew Ben Edlund growing up. I used to hang out at New England Comics all the time.
I was always amused by "Wubwubwubwubwubwubwub..." from the Omnibus. I also use this line to this day: "It's not like you hit a collie..."

Though frankly most of my favorite comic characters are non-supers like Spider Jerusalem, or only vaguely superish semi-heros like Tommy Monaghan.
Along those lines, I like...

John Constantine,
Kevin / Kev (from the Authority)

No, I was probably thinking of Sandra Bullock in a tight suit. See what that did to my brain...

You want an entertaining superhero? How about Molly "Princess Powerful" Hayes? A 10 year old girl who's stronger than the Thing? Some of her more entertaining scenes were gut punching the Punisher who then desperately tried to not pass out, Punching wolverine so hard, he landed a few blocks away, and smacking a Skrull into low orbit.

Sounds like a dead stock "Little girl is ridiculously strong, LOL!" superheroine. It should be common super sense at this point to either concentrate all firepower on little girls, or retreat and nuke from orbit. Doubly so if they're in a school uniform or Japanese. And if they're a little Japanese schoolgirl in uniform, you might as well just give up now.

She's part of the Runaways.
Interesting story in that the main villians are their parents.
