I confess to thinking either there's some undercurrent of Mayan calendar hysteria or someone with Chicago connections has a bath salts distribution ring under his thumb.
'Regulate' used to mean the opposite of 'constipate.'

Depends on where the third round impacts. If all in the same location (chest or head), then no. A classic Mozambique is "2 to the chest, one to the head, make sure they are nice and dead". :ugeek:
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

The classic Mozambique is also known in modern parlance a "failure drill."

Considering some of the shenanigans he pulled with currency trading, I'm amazed he hasn't been found with an extra hole in his head from some government hitter for crashing their shaky economy - I know that the Malaysians still blame him for the east Asian currency crisis.

Yeah, but Soros, probably, has more money and influence.

Personally, I never understood why heads of state got as much spent on their security as they do - they don't really have any kidnapping value, and a serious attempt to kill them requires someone willing to risk a politically chaotic event.

please give an example of an economic deadman.

I understand the concept but not the application here.

And that almost makes it worth killing him just for that.

That almost sounds like an old Connery-era James Bond movie. Can he really have that much power, Chris?

In Sweden, there's been one Prime Minister and one Minister of State murdered in public places. Both without any security present at the time.
There's also been several incidents when someone has rushed passed security and managed to attack other ministers, either planned or as a spur of the moment thing.

Most Scandinavian ministers prefer to travel with very little or no security, as does the Royal families. They feel the low key approach makes them more accessible to the public, and that more security would draw more attention.

From what I understand, their security is threat based, they seldom have more than a few bodyguards around them unless there's a very specific threat to them.
