I don't know how you got that picture, but if I ever find you down there in my basement...

I'll take your beer away.

You wish that was your basement - that was the infamous "Stern Collection" - it set a record for a gun auction - 12.7 million dollars.

I thought some of those MGs looked out of place.

The man had 3 Webley Fosberrys! Now I can understand the liking of the gun, but 3?! That's just being greedy!

HTRN,

I'd written a witty retort, but the computer ate my homework.

I am a great fan of Webleys, both revolvers and self-loaders, but the Fosberrys have always been a bit beyond my budget.

That said, a man of your wit, sarcasm, and disdain, is always welcome.

So, lemme know if you're ever going to be in these parts.

No kidding - they're going in the neighborhood of 6 to 8 grand.

Eh, nothing planned in the near(or even the not so near) future - last time I was in Chicago, was in 91', and then only to blow through at 70mph on I-90.

That reminds me, I'd been meaning to ask you, as well as several others here (specifically, damn near everyone) if you'd be interested in joining the faculty at the first University of Misanthropology.

The University of Misanthropy sounds fine ("U of M"), but there's an open chair for me at the University of Procrastination. I need to get around to that, first. ;-)
