Dropped the LC9 while getting ready to go this afternoon. Broke the safety.
Now what? I guess I am going to get something to replace it soon. However, what should I do with it?
Of course I just had to send the checks for my annual .Gov ass raping- so my disposable funds are not ready go this.

There are several safety delete videos. I am sure you can get a new safety lever and re-install. Probably $20 or less

I went ahead and removed the safety today (been traveling this was my first chance). This will at least give me something to carry for now.
I have been leaning towards a new carry piece anyway, this just confirmed it

Small update, ordered a replacement safety from Ruger. Tried to install it last night. Freaking thing does not fit. At least it is so tight I lever it with a took to operate it. So I took it off again.
So, no safety for me until I replace the pistol I guess.
