Ok folks here's the deal.
I talked with a couple of attorneys and basically we are going to raise a little money first to pay for the legal work needed to get this off the ground. It is not as simple as filing as the forum itself is actually worth money. We also need to trademark our name, etc. All this cost money. We will probably need a couple of grand to get it all done and transfer ownership. My attorneys both concur that I should not shoulder the costs at this point and it should be a group effort since it's going to be a 503c.
So.... If y'all trust me I set up an account at USAA under my name to use just for this until we can get all the stuff done and transferred, I set up a paypal linked to it as well. For those that would rather wait until it's formed that's cool too. It will just be different info for the donation. We can figure out all the legal wrangling once we are funded.
I will keep track and either post an anon donation (so you at least know it is recognized) or put it with your username if you wish. I'll keep the running tally and costs, perhaps on a spreadsheet on google drive.
