This. Why I don't watch that type of movie. Why I refuse to watch "The Walking Dead" series.evan price wrote:. The clicheending is always where the strong but sensitive heroine has to fight back-gun, shovel, 2x4, whatever. She knocks down the baddie, then drops the weapon and flees. Invariably the baddie gets up and intercepts the heroine and prevents the escape.

There are a lot of reasons not to watch the Walking Dead. This never happens in it, though.

Maybe if I inflict it on you all, I can get this stupid song out of my head now (it's bad 80's music, perfectly SFW)

Re: If you were in a horror movie...
If I haven't been killed/consumed with the first appearance of monster/killer its pretty simple...
Can I kill it? If it seems that I will not be able for force the current adversary to expire I go to Plan B.
Plan B means I take my toys and go home.
If I am unable to kill it or leave the area. I'm in for a nasty horrible grueling death, but let it be known I tried to punch Mega Shark to death from inside it's gut.

In a proper horror movie, being armed to the teeth won't help. Of course, as far as I'm concerned, a proper horror film would be something like "In The Mouth Of Madness". Proper horror should have you going, " Oh, that. Just. Ain't. Right. ", and not, " Ewwww! Splattered vicera! Again."

You know even Lovecraft had one of his protagonists shoot his was out of a situation once. That said I do prefer his "horror of the unknown" to some creep with a mask and a knife. Dealing with the creep is easy. Haunted houses can be moved out of. But the deep ones, the deep ones are eternal. Well at least least they were until Oppenheimer and friends came along.

Sometimes, what's in the haunted house follows you…

There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.
