SAN DIEGO — Both engines of a military jet fighter failed before the aircraft crashed and burned in a residential area, killing three people on the ground as it destroyed two houses, a congressional aide said Tuesday.

Investigators resumed the search for a missing child, believed to be 1 year old, in the wreckage of one house. Neighbors were in shock at the tragedy that befell the child’s family Monday, hours after the father kissed his wife and baby goodbye in the driveway.

The aide spoke on condition of anonymity because the information was not yet public.
Not to mention that all of the information probably hasn't been collected yet, and the investigation has a barely started. And of course it's anonymous as, to have that kind of information at this stage would require access to privileged information and unauthorized release could, in some circumstances, constitute a crime. All of which, of course, is secondary to need of this subhuman toad stroke it's ego by showing the press how "in the know" it is.

%*$($^)&%) legislative scum. Some one needs to fill his mouth in with cement and then drop him off in the middle of San Diego bay. Best not take any chances. Perform that operation on all legislative aides to make sure we get the correct one.

Well yea, just because the aide choose to remain anonymous does not lessen the fact that confidential information is being given out.

CNN is now reporting that the body of the infant has been found in the home.
