1 bottle of Everclear is all it takes.

It does look like a circa 1920-era armored car design.
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .

Unfortunately, the stuff you find around here isn't above 151 Proof - even though it's now marketed here as Everclear (which MANY PEOPLE ASSUME might be 190 PROOF on NAME ALONE) - BUT *IF* you are able to locate a store which has the EVIL Elixor at 190 Proof, PLEASE let me know ASAP, before someone shuts them down (you can email me, but I PREFER you CALL ME if you find such a location which actually stocks the REAL 190-PROOF stuff, since I'd MUCH PREFER to keep it under the radar)!!!! And I'm quite sure you have not only my home numbers but also our cell numbers, should you come across such high-quality, COMMECIALLY PRODUCED MOONSHINE (even if it's NOT produced from a local still [try that in SoCal])!!blackeagle603 wrote:1 bottle of Everclear is all it takes.
The FIRST TIME I ever saw Everclear here in San Diego, I checked it out and found it was nothing more than Bacardi 151 without flavoring. Sure, it was EVERCLEAR, but it WASN'T the EVERCLEAR most people know for the name!! By dropping thjeir product to 151 proof product, they became just another competitor in the Bacardi 151 market, with nothing unique to offer (besides the fact it was clear). PLUS, to make marketing matters worse, they were providing their product at about the SAME price, AND TIME, as the long-established Bacardi products were doing their promotions. Bacardi stomped all over them in th em,arketing department. But I have to give them credit since they haven't given up and are still plugging along, trying to get their market share (plus they have a loyal brand following).
My mom used to get me a CASE of Everclear any time she went across the border from CA into Nevada. It was nice 'cause that's the alcohol you take on hikes, because you can take so little and get a decent result from such a small amount - and when you're backbackin', you want to shave as many ounces as possible from all your gear - when you're carrying it on your back!!! Having high-potency alcohol saves a LOT of weight, even when mixed with TANG (while watching and enjoying a BEAUTIFUL SUNSET)!!!! LOL!!
I wish we still had access to 190-proof Everclear (my mom used top get it when she went to Laughlin (with her boyfriend) to try and get some easy money and have some fun, but she always was mourning the loss of my dad. When my dad was sick, and near his death-bed, my mom KNEW he was seriously ill but my EVIL step-mom refused to allow her to see him, even though they were married for 37 years!!
When you need to save weight while backpacking, having a cache of 190-proof alcohol can actually become a LIFE-SAVER!! You don't need much of it to get a fire started, a small amount is INCREDIIBLY LIGHT WEIGHT, it burns HOT, and burns long, and is GREAT for starting a Backpacking/Survival fire, and our CA-APPROVED 151 limit does NOTHING to limit alcoholism or reduce access to alcohol, I see NO VALID reason to continue to restrict COMMERCIAL alcool levels in this commie state to appease some liberal control freaks!!!

I'm going to have to look at the bottle more closely, I bought some everclear from a place in Culver City about 8 years ago.
