My Dad had one that I got to shoot a few times. I didn't experience any malfunctions with it that I remember and I never heard him speak ill of it. He ended up bi-polar and with Parkinsons, we suspect from three tours in Nam, so the gun was eventually sold before I had a chance to lay claim to it. I wish I could have gotten it before it was too late.

IIRC, (and please bear in mind that my memory is about as short as .... never mind.) the Llamas were not 1911s but were designed to LOOK like 1911s. E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .
