Feh, I've stayed up til 4:30am finishing John Ringo books I've bought the same day.
There was one time I got sick, came down with a fever, and in my less lucid moments I thought the Posleen were going to break into my house and eat me.

I'm still in Yellow Eyes, but I'm beginning to feel a bit sorry for Binastarion and for Guano and Ziramoth.Greg wrote:Just read 'Tuloriad', have a good time and find out for yourself. Oh and Kratman is a total bastard who can trigger a full blown allergy attack over a single Posleen getting killed, and not even a God King at that.

Yeah, Kratman does tend to humanize his bad guys. Makes his stuff interesting, even if the humanized bad guys are still pieces of shit. Certain characters in his Carrera books make my skin crawl, since I've met people like that before in the flesh.
His M-Day series is allota fun.

In this case, the point is that these aren't bad guys. Or they may be by circumstance, but circumstances can change, or *be* changed.dfwmtx wrote:Yeah, Kratman does tend to humanize his bad guys. Kratman's got a lot of rehabilitation to do after what was presented in the first few books, though.

I finally googled "OH JOHN RINGO NO," never having read any of his books.
I needed that laugh.
