And I have already put rounds down range.

Thanks Oleg and Derek.
I really liked the M43. Sure its a bullpup, but for a bullpup the trigger was really nice. no less good than a standard AR trigger. Not nearly as good as my Geissele SSA, but not many are.
Excellent weight, balance, minimal recoil or muzzle rise. No failures with any of the shooters and some of them were models (read as mostly gun illiterate). The wife liked it ALOT. She LOVED the KSG with the 1 3/4" Aguilla shells but other than that I think her favorite was the M43.
I would happily have that be her zombie gun.
Now to save up the scratch to buy her a KSG, an M43/RDB and the 18" RFB she really liked.

It will need to change everything or have an entry level AR price. Preferably, both. Otherwise, I don't think it'll really get off the ground.
$2300 for the M43? That's going to be a tough sell.

No, I'm sure they will sell the 35 that they produce.

I have no argument that the price is steep.
However this is a nice gun. But probably not more than $1500 nice for many people (outside of fanboys). But remember those are MSRP not street prices.
Rumor has it, they have an entire line dedicated to producing these. We will see what production volume shows up.

I'll wait for the Ruger.

At that price range, it's going to be in direct competition w. the Tavor. Which, by the way, ain't vaporware.
AND, Geissele is developing a trigger pack for the Tavor.

At $1000, they'd probably sell all they made.
At $2300, I think sales of 35 pieces is a tad optimistic, esp. for Kel-Tec.
It's not like they can blame the costs on the UAW or Euro labor, now is it?
That's BMW pricing from Yugo.
