This was engineering/surveying/construction type work in the field where you had a vehicle handy, and you were indoors at night.

If you're working on a fishing boat, or at some fixed location where it will be stored. It doesn't pack real well, however. My gear bag contains some lightweight nylon type raingear that stuffs into a very small space, if needed. If you are looking for something that will hold up for the duration of the apockylisp, however, you might want to go with the HH anyway and take the weight/space penalty.

Edit to add; I wouldn't want to hike in HH raingear, either.
Depends on the model. I have a HH set that is lightweight and store in a small place, I could fit it in a side pocket in my range bag or fishing bag. I bought it specifically to bring with me on hiking and fishing trips, and I've used it in heavy rain without problems. It breathes well, and I've had it for so long I cant remember when I bought it, but it's still in good condition. It's probably not suitable for working on a boat or something like that, but for hiking and use in the outdoors it's no problem.

That makes sense. All the ones that I've ever seen were of the commercial fishing variety.

Yeah, what were you saying a couple of threads back about mad dogs needing to be put down?

Good luck with that, and I hope that your jail term does not include conjugal visitation with Bubba.

Interesting thread to ponder...

Been looking at property in Yuma for other storage reasons (i.e. new CA gun laws likely to take effect)... Not sure the spousal unit understands/agrees fully yet.

Good luck with that, and I hope that [strike]your jail term[/strike] your time in eternity does not include conjugal visitation with 72 demons in perdition after you get your ass shot off.
