Help me pick a large TV

It kinda depends what you want..

Samsungs are probably the best right now in LEDs. I have heard that they can be difficult to deal with in terms of customer service - don't know how true it is though. Last I heard, the flavor of the month for Plasma was Panasonic, but that was a year ago. Your best bet for a TV rec is to go visit one of the A/V forums and see what they're talking about.

AFAIK, LG is still the king of the "best bang for your buck" category - I saw a 55" LG LED in Walmart last week for 700 bucks. :shock:

I know that LG's flat screen technology is definitely improving. The screens on their phones have gotten *much* better in recent years. I'm not sure how well that translates to their tv's right now, but it has to at some point.
