My arsenal is already reasonably comprehensive (we could argue here for weeks over minutiae). I don't really have the $$ or the room for a new toy. I'm putting what $$ is available into ammo, magazines, and a few other items. I'm also leaning on my daughter to get off her butt and get the gun/guns she has been thinking about for the last few months. I told her she needs to have everything in hand by Inauguration Day. She also lives in a more gun-friendly state than I do.

Go with one of the first two. The third option, I believe, will get you into trouble.

Spoke with my daughter on the phone a while ago. Happy Dance time! She has ordered a Mossy tactical in 12 ga. and an Ruger SP 101 in .357/.38sp. Should have shortly. No waiting period where she lives.

As you can see, I'm extremely lacking in my ammo dump currently, as well as my Banana Cache. Still working on that, but it's a slow process.

The thing I'm most afraid of, is that Obomba is gonna do something bad to handguns before I turn 21(Feb 2010), and I'm completely not interested in asking my Dad if he can definitely not buy a Makarov soon...

I do have a 1911 and 300 rounds of .45acp ball. I don't consider it part of my SHTF arsenal because, as my newest acquisition, I haven't spent enough time to feel completely comfortable with it. The firearms I have listed, I could handle blindfolded, after being shaken out of a deep sleep at 2am, etc. At this point, if the S does HTF, I'll feel most comfortable going with what is listed.
