Yup, NRA and VCDL.

I don't think they can sign up enough people to make a difference.

They can to deal with their individual congresscritters. At the local level, the amount of influence the NRA has in many areas is quite significant and that influence can be used to help block any new AWB - especially if their memberships double.

I think I'm OK on guns right now, although I don't have much in the way of holsters, referring to an earlier post.

I'll probably focus on ammo buys.

Is there anywhere online that membership numbers can be tracked?

Roger that Mike.

Read yours above. Went to CRPA and paid up for life membership.

My PTR put me in the whole pretty much as far as being able to buy guns for awhile, but I might have made a few ammo purchases today... ;)
JAG: So why do you need armor piercing ammo?
tcourtplayer: Zombies
JAG: For when they hide behind engine blocks?
tcourtplayer: Just because the movies say they will be dumb and slow doesn't make it true.

As to the questions on how this new Marxist government will make up new laws on guns will happen when the "event" happens in America, or by treaty with the UN.
I think here is where the threat lies. The O working for "world peace" and going along with the UN's view of "comon people" owning guns.

More likely than the possible ban on ammunition is the doubling of the price by the addition of new taxes. In fact, you can almost count on that happening.

I also predict a new AWB in the first year. The dems have damn little to lose by doing it in the first year considering that they know that the average citizen has the memory of a goldfish when it comes to their shenanigans.

As far as a national ban on CCW goes it is quite possible if not likely. Sure, it is a states rights issue, but so was the speed limits in the 70s...at least until the .gov decided to tie highway funds to the compliance of a new national speed limit. Threaten a state with losing .gov money and they will fold like a cheap suit. They will surely use the "it's for the children" excuse.

As to the hanging of politicians and journalists...oh for the want of a perfect world......

Holster? What's a holster?
It's a device for securing your gun on your person when not in use, so you don't stick it down the front of your pants and shoot your balls off.

the first 2 steps will be a tax on ammo and a ban on lead ammo...

after that, they will eliminate the DOT regulation that allows ammo to be shipped...
