Frankly, what I would love to see, as it combines multiple genres, is a Shadowrun MMORPG. It has a bit of something for everyone - the pointy ear fetishests, the magic obsessed, and those right thinking individuals who realize you can farther with a kind word and a mortar, than you can with with hocus pocus.

It's in active development, they had a gameplay demo last E3, scheduled for release in 2013.

That will be my crack after mechwarrior.

We still have a ton of original Shadowrun stuff from an early online development effort that never panned out. In days of yore we were friends with one of that game's originators, back when Fasa was still here in chi-sphincter. I actually got a in-passing mention in one of the later added books... (by online alias) but I only ever played the game once

It will be interesting to see the new MMORPG. There's another turn-based one that is being developed as a kickstarter project.

Yeah, but in the meantime you have to deal with the national government here that is largely in the control of entities with the ethics of Boskonians, elected by masses with the intellectual agility of Zabriskan fontemas.
