PLEASE let me take out Life Insurance on you if you do!!! I've heard that those things have a real tendency to want to toss their riders off of them (ESPECIALLY if you've EVER ridden a motorcycle before and are used to leaning into the turn as with ANY motorcycle AND/OR BICYCLE).

With those things, they feel MUCH different than what you're used to.

I'm sorry, I just searched for the threads where we discussed such things and couldn't find them, but I recall that those who rode them wanted to curse and scream at them 'cause they wanted to toss the rider/s off at EVERY curve and/or corner. Having ridden bikes for MANY years, I can understand why (if you think about it and try to visualize it with the weight transfer , etc., etc., you too will understand), so if you REALLY think you *MIGHT* want to actually buy one, do yourself a HUGE favor and RENT ONE before you buy it. I SERIOUSLY DOUBT you'll find the experience as liberating as a regular motorcycle and certainly NOT as free since you have to REALLY BE ON YOUR TOES at EACH AND EVERY turn, since the bike wants to kick you off EVERYWHERE unless going straight.

Granted, I HAVE NOT ridden one of these beasts myself, but have read quite a few review of folks who've ridden them as well as those who bought them and returned them believing them to be unsafe (and sorely disappointed in the "bike's" performance).

Frankly, I don't get the appeal of them. If you want a cycle, get one. If you want a Roadster, a Cobra replica is affordable, will have far more power, handle better and quite frankly, not look goofy.

There are three wheel motor cycles and then there are three wheel motorcycles.
The motor cycles that arebuilt with two wheels in the back are tricksy to ride. The Can AM spyder much less so because of the Boch stabilization system which has ABS and traction control. This of course drives the price up.
The other route, if I get better than current health back, would be something in the large displacement highway scooters like the current Honda Silver Wing. Meh, talk about image hit.

Piaggio does make the MP3 three-wheel scooter.

Well I remember giving the literature a quick skim when they first came out and now they have a decent size engine engine at 498 cc and I admire the parallelogram front suspension that let the front tires lean for safe turns. The increase in braking power from having two front discs is nice. But boy has that thing been beaten hard with the ugly stick. If I got my fat ass on that thing we'd probably cause a traffic hazard.

Some people would like the snowmobile thrill, but this time on the open road instead?
Remember, folks, you can't spell "douche" without "Che."

I know of a maritime MOVEMENT (also happens on land and during Vietnam was set to fire in cut-off 55-gal drums) which would qualify as an IMPROVEMENT to the occupant of the BIG CHAIR in the White House as it either goes over the side, or into the black water holding tank.

Our choices this election are even more clear-cut than the last time due to the actions of the current DWEEB-IN-CHARGE and all his sycophants covering for him (including the MSM). This TURD has run the country not only into the ground, but buried it DEEP into the land of DEBT which is a legacy upon ALL our GRANDCHILDREN and THEIR CHILDREN ALSO.

ABO - ANYONE BUT OBAMA!!

Consumption of beer is GREAT on a boat, as long as the OPERATOR stays clean and sober!!! I HATE pulling bodies out of the water, BTDT too damn many times and it's NOT fun (ESPECIALLY the SMELL!!), but helping slightly inebriated hotties out of the water (dripping wet) in their loose, skimpy bathing suits is something most guys could do ALL DAY!! :P :D

One of the fastest quarter-milers at Dragway 42 (West Salem, OH) the lovely evening of July 27 was a durn snowmobile.

They had a pair of slingshots fuelers, but they only ran the 1/8 mile...in about 5 seconds. There was a '33 Willys gasser there that was pretty sweet too; '33 Willys was always Dad's favorite rod. 8-) A couple of cars were running consistent 9s, and that snowmobile was right there. It was a combo night -- test & tune, bracket "gambler race" with a $20 ante and $10 rebuy for drivers who lost in the first round, and some demonstrations like the slingshots. Still love going to the drags.

I started riding street this spring.. It took a few miles to figure out the balance and lean of a heavy cruiser but I'm now cautiously comfortable. Kids love riding it also.

Just go get one.
