Holy shit, Jericho. That's the weirdest thing! I have the same experience. I itch like I have a stinging rash everywhere when I run. No one's been able to explain it, though.
And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.

That itch can be a common flare of a self-allergic reaction (us humans have a lot of these - arthritis for example). Try a dose of benedryl 20 minutes before running if the other non-medicinal things don't work

When I go long periods without working out, then start up again, I itch pretty badly...always in my legs when I'm running or power walking.

Usually, by the 3rd or 4th workout, the itching is gone and never returns. I always figured it had to do with the jiggling of my skin that my body was no longer used to...stirring up nerve endings that weren't used to all the movement. After a few workouts, the nerve endings were used to it and no longer gave an adverse reaction.

But that's just my theory about my own personal experience.

If you've been working out regularly up until this occurance, then my scenario does not fit yours...in which case...I have no idea what I'm talking about.
