Actually, that's very nice. If our home was going to be overtaken by a deadly hot mud & ash flow, powered by a nearby erupting volcano, and my wife & I were looking at certain death, I could think of no better person I'd want to spend my last moments with than with the one I pledged my love to.

And yes, we'd either be holding hands or embracing each other at our final moments. Besides, there are far worse things than to be married to your best friend. :D ;) :D

I'd agree, but I'm most likely to die cold & alone, and my ex-girlfriends will try to have me buried face-down so I don't dig my way back out of my grave. (Or if I do dig my way out, I'll be in China & no longer their problem... )

Are they going to chop have your head, put a stake through your heart and burn your corpse, too?

If I'm lucky, I'll be buried in secret so they don't violate my grave.

I think the article mentioned that they were found in a simple tomb; chances are, the family laid them out that way before completing the interment. They look too straight and peaceful to have died in a pyroclastic flow.

At least they are not going to leave your butt above ground to use for a bike rack.
