Someone doesn't know how to write a very good article and insert the link in the appropriate place for the trailer. Link to the trailer where you talk about the TRAILER, NOT where you talk about the official Yahoo! webpage where the trailer debuted.

Woo Hoo, it's Top Gun for Skimmers (surface navy types)
I work with a company that supplies props and vehicles for military movies. We had a small part in this production. We had to find the dummy 16 inch shells and powder bags that were going to be used. Also, I found a copy of the Navy manual on the operation of the turrets. But it was posted to the web as images of the pages. So I had to download all 700 plus images, then print them out and bind the manual so that we could send it to the prop master on the set.

Re: Battleship
Sounds like Gun Counter material to me.Which weapons?
All of them.
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

Eeh. You'd think that with all the real-world drama, they could do much better than contrived garbage. Leyte Gulf, Midway...or the Big One, Jutland.

Re: Battleship
A solid meh...sorry guys, but it would take an alien to make a movie about being a SWO (Surface Warfare Officer) cool...why couldn't they just have done the Battle of Suriago Strait (including the Battle off Samar)?

Re: Battleship
Yeah, I'm leaning towards meh on this one. But mostly because of the sappy love story at the beginning, possibly shadowing the whole damn movie. One of the reasons I didn't watch Pearl Harbor.JAG2955 wrote:A solid meh...sorry guys, but it would take an alien to make a movie about being a SWO (Surface Warfare Officer) cool...why couldn't they just have done the Battle of Suriago Strait (including the Battle off Samar)?
