I wonder if he called them a bunch of jabbering gooks and TOLD them to get off his lawn???

Really, GOOD ON HIM!! Somebody has to protect themselves or the punks will over run the entire neighborhood. Hopefully this will give the others courage to arm themselves and do likewise, and at least be able to protect themselves and their family from all these hoodlums!!

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

He does seem a bit eccentric... Is that a cannon and a Brazilian flag on his lawn? And is he wearing a leather apron over a pink skirt? Not judging, a man's home is his castle, just wondering....

It also shows you punk kids are just punk kids. Aren't even motivated enough to keep talking s**t when confronted about it. The man had a 5 shot bolt action rifle. There were 12 kids. Though who knows, with a Mosin M-44, the muzzle blast might be sufficient to render them out of action by virtue of being completely deaf.

But an important lesson here is that when dealing with punks, simply bringing a gun to a rockfight is usually enough to get them to bugger off.

M-44.

Integral bayonet.

Is gun. Is stabby.

I'm also totally judging this guy, too. You do not wear a purple sarong with a medium brown apron like that. I don't care if it's comfortable or not. He should have gone with a muted green to complement the black and brown of the rest of his ensemble.
Remember, folks, you can't spell "douche" without "Che."

:( :?

I hadn't bothered to watch the vid on my first time through the story. "A bit eccentric" might be putting it lightly. I would put him in the solidly eccentric range to start with. Then again, there's probably a perfectly reasonable explanation for all of it. Perhaps he's wearing the skirt on doctor's orders or something? He probably had house guests from Brazil during the filming. And, how can you judge anyone who has a cannon?

If we don't judge, he won't improve his sartorial resplendence, or something. The way it wrapped around him, I'd think he's been hanging out with a lot of Indonesians lately. Either that or the dude loves wearing bath towels, one of the two.

If he was similarly dressed during the incident, I gotta wonder about the real reason the kids ran.
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

If there was a breeze, they may have seen his rifle, but ran from his gun. :o
