What happens to the MSM if McCain wins.

McCain has a reputation of being hot tempered but I don't know how well he nurses a grudge.
So if he wins I find it interesting to speculate what the payback, if any, will be for the MSM who was so far into the tank against him.
Does he only give access to Fox cable and newspapers who endorsed him?
Does he repay those North East corridor "conservatives" (George Will, David Frum, Peggy Nonnan, and some minor talking heads) that dumped on Palin three weeks before the election in an effort to get themselves a soft landing, by not having anything to do with any organization that hires them?
Does he have Helen Thomas's chair moved out to the parking lot or all the way to the street?
Does the SEC start investigating the NY Times for stock holder fraud?
Does Hollywood have it's accounting standards investigated?
Just put that under things I'd like to see.

IF McCain wins. That's a big "IF". And IF he wins the MSM will likely do a quicky kiss and make up with him and all would be forgiven. When, in fact, all conservative should be castigating the entire MSM establishment for treatment they have recieved over the last 8 years. Just because there is a first amendment doesn't mean that politicians can't pick and choose who they grant interviews to.

However while there may have been a better choice than Palin, the timing of the remarks is of no help in defeating Obama. They seem to belive that if Palin stepped down and someone Romney replaced her everything would be hunky dory or at least a Hungarian rowboat.

There were a number of conservatives who wanted Romney -- mostly the "Rockafeller" ones who are focused on capitalism above all else... I think the only reason he wasn't was A) McCain's ego probably couldn't have taken the kind of power sharing that would have required -- McCain could still get a HUGE bump, at least in donations, if he promised Romney would become the Treas. Sec. B) Apparently some of the population REALLY hates Mormons.

romney would have been a huge problem because of the raid on that Texas polygamist range a few months ago... they would have implied that he was the same as that guy and it would have spiraled downward from there.
