That reminds me of the cable channels of the early 80s, when Nazis were filler material. Of all the major cable channels at the time, any channels that competed with PBS in terms of educational broadcasting seemed to have half of their programs dealing with Nazis. For example:
The Discovery Channel: Wildlife, technology, and Nazis.
The Learning Channel: Open heart surgery and Nazis.
A&E: Stand-up comedy! And Nazis.
MTV: Music videos and Nazis! Oh, wait, no, sorry, got my socialists mixed up.
