Two that I've looked at recently:
( XL ) SAT-COM BAG from County Comm
Niiiice handsown leather guitar case kinda spendy, though.
I ended up getting a Sat Com bag from County Comm for Christmas. My folding stock AK fits just perfect. 16 inch AR15s will fit, but you have to remove the upper from the lower for it to work. The pockets on the outside of the bag are good for holding a cleaning kit, a .22 conversion and magazines, and inside a three mag pouch with shoulder straps fits alongside the AR15s.

Just saw these today:
Endom USA's TNT Gym Bag which can hold two AR15 uppers and two lowers.
And while this bag can't fit a rifle, it does look very inconspicuous for hauling around a pistol and whatnot: SO Tech's Mission Go Bag Adventure Sports . It comes in red, yellow, blue, and grey for the non-tactical looks.

Cool, that looks like it would hold a rifle with a folding stock, a saiga 12 or a shorty AR just fine.
I also found this. I think it's a great idea actually.

Re: Covert rifle carry
I finally found my bag. In a thread about the Cav Arms covert rifle bag, a commenter asked what the bag offered for $160 that can't be had in a tripod bag. So I started looking into tripod bags and found this.
I got it for father's day.
It's ~28x6x6. Holds my AR broken down in the main pouch (with room to spare) and 4 30rd mags (total) in two side pockets. It's well padded, but I need to add a divider to keep the upper and lower from bashing each other. Only down side is the Pelican label on the side (Pelican making rifle cases and all).

Looks like a great AK bag, thanks.
EDIT: Well, it was a nice thought. None of the places listed will ship it to AK USPS, which means that the price would double by the time I got it here.

I wouldn't worry about the Pelican label, they make equipment bags and cases for all purposes. Most people just think of them as top-of-the-line equipment cases.Durham68 wrote:...Only down side is the Pelican label on the side (Pelican making rifle cases and all).
If time, chance and random process can produce a platypus why not an ammo tree?

Yep. And if it comes down to it, you can always sew or double bubble a patch over it.Flintlock Tom wrote:I wouldn't worry about the Pelican label, they make equipment bags and cases for all purposes. Or depending on how it's attached just cut it off.
