Military Surplus Signal Panel Markers

The place for general talk about gun, shooting, loading, camping, survival, and preparedness related tools and gear, as well as gear technology discussion, gear reviews, and gear specific "range reports" (all other types of gear should be on the back porch).

Military Surplus Signal Panel Markers

Post by workinwifdakids »

I've seen military surplus VS 17 signal panel markers marketed to survivalists, backpackers, etc. for roughly $10/ea.

Do you see a real benefit to these, or are they just gimmicks?
And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.

Thanks, Chris! I waited to update until the eBay auction was over. I bought one for $0.01 on eBay! With shiping, $4.96. How cool is that?

I think the gear to talk to the pilots would involve a different eBay auction.

LOL, what I mean is sometimes pilots can't tell which hummock you are taking cover behind and it is helpful to provide a visual aid...

And it's easier to spot a stationary panel than a flashing signal mirror.
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad
