Where is my anti-flame suit?

The place for general talk about gun, shooting, loading, camping, survival, and preparedness related tools and gear, as well as gear technology discussion, gear reviews, and gear specific "range reports" (all other types of gear should be on the back porch).

Where is my anti-flame suit?

Post by The Wizard »

does anyone know where i can get Nomex ACU's? the kind that actually resemble ACUs not the acu pattern jumpsuit? they are issued to aviators, medics, calvary, and apparently everyone except transporters. but i cant find them anywhere online. my google-fu is not strong.

thanks but neither of those is what im looking for. what i am talking about look like regular ACUs but have a velcro band around the stomach area to tighten or loosen the fit on the top, and the bottoms have a couple extra pockets in them including a pocket on the inside of the left thigh that flight docs use for shears and ground guys put a flashlight in. oh and all th pockets have zippers. for some reason though i cant find anything anywhere about them at least no pictures.

Take a look here:

Image
This is exactly the same flight suit worn by United States Air Force and Navy aircrews all over the world. These flight suits are absolutely genuine, first quality from the military production line. They are manufactured to military specification MIL-C83141A.

Some companies sell cheaper piece-dyed flight suits, but we require military-specification, producer-dyed fabric and zippers made from NOMEX® fiber and thread made from KEVLAR® fiber.

Even though these flight suits have already been inspected to tough government standards, we inspect them again ourselves. And we reject nearly one of every ten because they just weren’t good enough. You won’t find seconds or military rejects here. Air Force Sage Green and new Khaki.
WARNING, they aren't cheap.
We are open Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific Time.
