My new gun safe

The place for general talk about gun, shooting, loading, camping, survival, and preparedness related tools and gear, as well as gear technology discussion, gear reviews, and gear specific "range reports" (all other types of gear should be on the back porch).

Lego. Now why didn't I think of that? I would have saved a small fortune in riggers' fees and had fun building it too.

Heh, just remembered a story I heard a while back. An oldtimer had just decided to finally get a new hunting rifle, so he walks into the police station to ask them for help with licensing, he hasn't written an application for decades and have no clue how they work. So they work their way down the application, and comes to the "storage" portion. So the officer asks what model gunsafe he has?
"Safe? Well, I just keep the guns in a wooden cupboard I made myself when I was a teenager.. I guess you could put a lock on it and call it a safe..."

The story goes that the officer almost freaked out and gave the guy a week to buy a real gunsafe. Old folks out in the country just dont really keep up with all this new legislation and stuff... 8-)
