The Gun Counter

I recently got a couple new production M1 carbine magazines for my carbine. They all have the same problem though, the 2nd to last round always misfeeds, The round gets pushed against the breechface/rear of the barrel usually to the left of the chamber. I'm guessing it's the follower but I'm used to shooting single stack magazines so I'm not really familiar with doublestack. Anything I can do to better diagnose or fix the problem?

Are the mags Korean 15 rounders that came out a few months ago? I bought a handful and haven't had a chance to try them out.
